For this kitchen makeover, we worked with a lot of the existing materials we had and saved on waste by repainting the cupboard doors and bar, re-tiling the backsplash and wrapping the countertop. The real hero has to be the addition of the lights above the island, the glass pendants giving just enough separation between the kitchen and living spaces whilst retaining the open plan feeling.
