Home office & guest room

This project was our first of the post-lockdown "I need a home office in my guest room" era!

 

Previously home to a double bed with not much space for anything else, we swapped it out for the classic IKEA daybed to give us room for a workspace. Creating the desk (and floating shelf) from a piece of IKEA kitchen worktop cut to size meant we could make a longer desk better suited to this family's needs.  Fronteriors doors on Besta frames added some additional over-head storage. 

 

The sage green feature wall with natural accents makes for a beautifully calming space, don't you think?
